LILI PALACE: dramatized tour

Don’t miss this exciting experience of getting to know the Gipuzkoa region of four centuries ago! In the play Honour of the Lilies, Our Lady Madalen, the last inhabitant of the Lili family, will take you to 1678 through a dramatized monologue, and you will experience the real characters and the scenes.

Warning for when booking your tickets: In case you wish to combine an Ekainberri experience with the Lili Palace, please make sure you take into consideration the duration of each experience and the time you need to move from one spot to another so that the schedules are compatible and do not collide. Children must always go with an adult.

Lili Palace is open all year round and it is the perfect plan to combine it with the visit to Ekainberri! All visits to Lili Palace are guided tours, so we recommend you book your tickets online and in advance. Please note this experience is only offered in Spanish or Basque.

From the second half of March to the first half of december:

  • Saturdays: 16:30 Spanish / 17:30 Basque.
  • Sundays: 11:30 Spanish / 12:30 Basque.

THE TOUR, STEP-BY-STEP

Lili Palace is located in Zestoa (Gipuzkoa), 4 kilometres from exit 48 of the AP-8 highway, just half an hour from Donostia-San Sebastián, 50 minutes from Bilbao and 60 minutes from Vitoria-Gasteiz and Biarritz.

The walk from the car park to Lili Palace takes 10 minutes on foot, but the time limit for collecting your entrance tickets (coins) from the Ekainberri ticket sales office is half an hour before the start of each play. Even if you have purchased your tickets online, you have to call in to the Ekainberri ticket sales office 30 minutes before the start of the play. Remember that you cannot get to Lili Palace by car.  People with reduced mobilitys: the palace is a historic building that’s not accessible, please contact the ticket sales office and we’ll adapt the experience. Visitors with reduced mobility who request it are given access by vehicle. Limited spaces.

  • Step 1: Leave your car in the car park and go to the Ekainberri ticket sales office to collect your entrance tickets (coins). It is important to get there at least 30 minutes before your play begins. It takes 5 minutes on foot to get from the car park to the office.

  • Step 2: Collect your tickets and follow the path to the entrance to Lili Palace (10 minutes).

  • Step 3: At the time when the play begins, you’ll have to knock on the door, maybe you’ll have to insist a bit to Andre Madalen… It is now when you will have to give her your coin.

  • Please remember: Even if you have purchased your tickets online, you have to call in to the Ekainberri Ticket Sales Office 30 minutes before the start of the play. This experience is only offered in Spanish and Basque.
