Ekain is an exceptional work of cave art from the Palaeolithic period. Artistic creations by Palaeolithic hunter-gatherers have been discovered around the world, and yet the specimens found here on the Cantabrian coast of Europe, known as Franco-Cantabrian cave art, are the most prolific.
